Poll Worker Training

We thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the election process. Your role as an inspector is critical and we would never be able to do it without you!

The Dutchess County Board of Elections provides annual training for elections inspectors. All election inspectors must be certified and pass a written exam.The New York State Board of Elections states that it is mandatory for all Poll Inspectors to take one training class.

In preparation for the Election season, we will schedule our next set of inspector training classes.

2008 Inspector Training

As with last year, we will be holding many general training sessions during the summer. You will be required to attend at least one during that time, so please wait for that opportunity. Details on this year's training are found in this letter.
