  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE I HAVE TO BE A POLL WORKER?

    Workers must be at least 18 years of age.


    DO I HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED VOTER?

    Yes. Workers must be registered. Enrollment in a party is NOT required.


    WHAT HOURS DO POLL WORKERS WORK?

    General election: hours are from 5:30AM to 9:30PM.

    Primary election: hours are from 11:30AM to 9:30PM.


    HOW MUCH ARE POLL WORKERS PAID?

    Workers are paid between $150 for a Primary and $215 for a General.


    IS THERE A TRAINING CLASS TO BECOME A POLL WORKER?

    Yes. For attending a training class, workers are paid $35.00.
