Oct. 5
Last day to fill a vacancy created by declination of a Supreme Court nominee. Sec. 6-158(8)
Oct. 8
Last day to postmark voter registrations for the general election in November. Forms must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 13th to be eligible to vote in the General Election. Sec. 5-210(3)
Last day to register to vote in person for the general election except if 1) you have been honorably discharged from military, or 2) became a naturalized citizen, or 3) moved within your county since Oct. 8th; then you may register in person at the Board of Elections up until Oct. 22nd Sec. 5-210, 5-211, 5-212
Oct. 13
Last day that mailed-in registration application forms or mailed-in notices of change of address can be received by the County Board of Elections. Must be received, processed and entered in time for the general election. Sec. 5-208(3)
